Blakes of Dover is a small hotel with a restaurant and cosy cellar bar. The bar inside Blakes of Dover was the 2006 winner of the CAMRA East Kent Pub of the Year competition. The restaurant on entry level provides a quieter area to enjoy a meal, however, food can be served down in the bar where there is often live music or on sunnier days outside in the patio garden. Blakes of Dover serve a range of real ales as well as Czech larger and German wheat beer, they also serve both local and west country ciders.

Dino’s Italian restaurant is the oldest family run Italian restaurant in Dover having been open since 1977, after attracting a local following working at a nearby restaurant the dream for Clara and Dino was to open their own restaurant and so Dino’s was born. At Dino’s they pride themselves on having brought traditional Italian cuisine to Dover, this means using the freshest herbs and seasonal vegetables, some of which are home grown, they use English meat and fresh fish from a local fish market and most importantly for Italian cooking, they us top quality cold pressed extra virgin olive oil. Dino’s is open for lunch and dinner Tuesday to Sunday.

The White Cliffs National Trust café has an amazing view of Dover form the outdoor dining area. A cream tea for one is just £3.25 and all scones, cakes and other sweet treats such as flapjacks and shortbread a homemade. They also serve homemade light lunches such as salads, jacket potatoes and warmer dishes in the winter months. Their sandwich fillings are dependent on season as they want to make the most out of local seasonal produce, in fact lots of the ingredients used are from their own on site vegetable patch. They also offer Fair Trade coffee and herbal teas. The National Trust café is a charity which means by enjoying a drink or something to eat during your walk along the cliffs you are helping to preserve them.
